A monument erected in April 1943 by the Dajia County Meat Merchants Association (大甲郡獸肉販賣商業組合) at the former Qingshui Slaughterhouse (清水屠宰場). The original Japanese colonial era facility was later converted into the Xining Community Activity Center (西寧社區活動中心) and the monument was relocated to the rear of the building for preservation. Also known as the Xining Animal Spirit Monument (西寧獸魂碑). Access requires contacting the village chief to unlock the center if it isn’t otherwise open.
