Built around 1919 alongside the Beishankeng Power Plant, this suspension bridge serves as the only access route for Taipower employees to reach the intake valve for maintenance. A “Bridge General” spirit tablet (橋將軍神位) was installed at the bridge head to pray for safe passage, a rare or perhaps even unique example of bridge deification in Taiwan.
