Remnants of a Qing dynasty mountaintop fortification built in Nuannuan, Keelung, during the Sino-French War in 1884. The fort was part of a defensive line along the ridges surrounding Keelung, where Qing forces and local volunteers held off the French advance across the Keelung River. Only traces remain—simple stone walls, circular ramparts, and trenches. In recent years the Dingnei Community Development Association built a stone trail making the summit accessible in about 20 minutes.
