An imperial portrait hall (奉安殿) at Nanzhuang Public School (南庄公學校) in Nanzhuang, Miaoli. It was built in 1938 to mark the school’s fortieth anniversary with a dedication ceremony held on December 4th of that year. These purpose-built structures housed the imperial rescript on education and portraits of the emperor. The school is now Nanzhuang Elementary School (南庄國民小學); the hōanden was demolished long ago.
