The communal grave of more than thirty Taiwanese Indigenous people killed in the Nanzhuang Incident of 1902, when Japanese authorities staged a surrender ceremony to gun down a Tayal (泰雅族) leader and his followers in Nanzhuang, Miaoli. Their remains were relocated several times before interment at the present site, on the campus of Nanzhuang Junior High School (南庄國中). In 2022 it was designated a historic site (南庄事件史蹟).
