An average home in the laneways branching off from Zhongtai Road.

A small residential community on the Dadu Plateau (大肚台地) with the look of a military dependents’ village, settled in part by veterans who came to Taiwan with the ROC government. The community association dates its own founding to 1993, but the settlement appears on maps as early as 1985 and predates the prison built nearby. It is located on a fairly steep slope and many of the residences are no longer occupied or maintained.
