Established in 1946 as the first theater in urban Liugui. It was jointly owned by village chief Liu Zuyan (劉祖燕) and his brother, Liu Zuxiang (劉祖祥), and located on the main market street. Different accounts provide different closing dates; either it went out of business in the 1970s, or around 1994, but in any case it was demolished long ago.
