Kuochi Senior Vocational High School (國際商工), established in Tainan in 1948 and relocated to this site on Sanduo 2nd Road (三多二路) in 1956, was a private vocational school that wound down operations in 2022 and returned its land to the Kaohsiung city government. Demolition of the campus began in April 2025, with the site earmarked for a metro joint-development project. The abandoned grounds drew attention from Taiwan’s urban exploration community in the period before they were cleared.
