An impressive hillside temple made famous by the presence of the “gate to the underworld”, which is opened every Ghost Month. The temple itself is covered with hundreds of lanterns, lighting the way for spirits to enter the mortal realm (and return to the afterworld one month later). It is located in Anle, Keelung.
