Established around 1927 as Kari-za (佳里座), a traditional performance venue. Renamed after the war and out of business or demolished by 1977. Different sources cite a capacity between 800 and 1,200, which would be unusually large for that time. Located on Yimin Street (義民街) in the former Xi’an Village (西安里).
