One of several subsidiaries of Douliu Shinto Shrine (斗六神社). This sessha (攝社) was established in December 1941 on a piece of land now occupied by the Gukeng Township Farmers Association Agricultural Leisure Center (古坑鄉農會農業休閒中心). A number of relics from the former shrine have been relocated to the campus of the nearby Yongguang Elementary School (永光國民小學) including the wooden chōzuya (手水舎), a pavilion for ritual purification, and several stone lantern fragments. Kantoucuo was likely known as Kantouseki in Japanese.
