A three-tiered sandstone incinerator built in 1866 during the late Qing Dynasty. As with others of its kind it embodies the Hakka tradition of reverence for written characters. The well-preserved structure features inscriptions praising the mystery of writing and is topped with a gourd symbolizing fortune. Accessible via a forested trail behind Zhaiming Temple (齋明寺).
