Originally named Wanguo Theater (萬國戲院), this theater on the upper levels of a mixed-use complex was operated by Liao Zhide (廖治德), later the chairman of Showtime Cinemas. As business dwindled it was converted into a second-run theater and subdivided into two halls. Eventually it closed around 1998. The name can still be seen in the passageway near the entrance, and the theater halls themselves remain intact, since there are still many residents living in the building.
