Former radiotelegraph station established in 1934 by the International Telecommunications Company in Taiwan. After the war control of the facility passed to what eventually became the Chunghwa Telecom Company. It was recognized as a historic site in 2017. There was also a small Shinto shrine (構內社) somewhere on the property.
