Heyi Brick Factory (合益磚廠) - Spectral Codex

A lone brick kiln chimney stands beside County Road 193 in the Dongfeng (東豐) area of Yuli. This site was formerly Heyi Brick Factory (合益磚廠), which operated at peak output in the 1960s as Dongfeng’s principal employer. The bricks were fired from earth dug on site; the flat lot beside the works is said to have once been a hill, levelled for its clay. Only the chimney, its name still faintly legible from the road, and some crumbling ruins remain.
