Completed in 1930, this red brick office building across from Yilan Station was once the local branch of the grain bureau. It survived the post-war tumult and continued to operate as an office until the early 2000s, when it was converted for use as a visitor center than then a literary café (百果樹紅磚屋) operated by Huang Chunming (黃春明). It now operates as the BiG18 Red Brick House (BiG18紅磚屋).
