Ekadsan Shinto Shrine (伊卡多散社)

One of many Shinto shrines constructed in Indigenous settlements along the north coast of Hualien after the conclusion of the Truku War. Located against the hills at the back of what is now officially known as Kdasan, this former Shinto shrine was likely known as Ekadsan-shi in Japanese. It was completely overgrown and lost for decades but the site was cleared in the mid-2010s and eventually remade into Houshan Jueqi (後山蕨起), an Indigenous recreation center with archery and other activities for tourists.
