A sprawling set of military dependents’ villages in Taichung’s Xitun District. Initially it was three separate settlements: East Village (東村), West Village (西村), and New Village (新村). Some of the earliest structures were built by the Japanese. It was known for having a theater in the area, probably in the 1960s. Completely demolished.
