A seemingly unfinished row of townhouses in the mountains of Xindian. It was likely built by television personality Jiang Changwen (江長文) around 1973 but allegedly suffered financial difficulties and was never completed nor occupied until more recently. Director Tsai Ming-liang renovated part of the complex into his residence and also shot The Deserted (家在蘭若寺) here in 2017. Much of it remains abandoned and in a state of disrepair.
