An old-fashioned market street lined with shophouses and registered as a heritage site in 2010. The street dates back to the Qing dynasty era but most structures lining the street are Japanese colonial era vintage and more recently restored or reconstructed for tourism purposes. It is sometimes used in TV and film production.
