The last of three government-run public pawnshops established in Taipei during the Japanese era. It opened on February 21, 1936 after the city acquired and renovated the privately-owned Longshan Pawnshop to better serve residents of Wanhua. Its later history is unknown but the building is almost certainly long gone.
