Qianjin Lintouwei (前進林投圍) - Spectral Codex

An urban village that fell through the cracks and somehow persisted into the 2020s. Due to zoning bylaws no buildings are legally permitted to be renovated or constructed, so it preserves much of the ad hoc design and layout of the 1960s. Its future is uncertain, but in the present some small bars and cafés have opened in a semi-legal fashion, inviting residents to reacquaint themselves with a neighborhood out of a page in the history books.
