A sprawling entertainment complex established by businessman Liu Zhengchi (劉政池). At its peak in the 1980s the site featured a bowling alley, bowling alley, hydrotherapy pool, KTV, restaurant, indoor water park, meeting rooms, outdoor BBQ pits, and a social club, and was reportedly used at one point as a state banquet venue for visiting foreign dignitaries. After Liu was removed from his post the resort closed and slipped into disrepair, though the property is still nominally managed by his family. The site has since become one of central Taiwan’s better-known urban exploration destinations. The building itself is dangerous in places, with sections already collapsed, so take appropriate precautions when visiting!
