A small viewing platform on the side of the highway coming into Miaoli City. Back in 1995 a husband murdered and dismembered his wife, discarding some of her body parts around the pavilion. Since then it became notorious for supernatural rumors and ghost stories. The pavilion was demolished around 2016 when the highway was widened. In media reports it is sometimes referred to as the Miaoli Ghost Pavilion (苗栗鬼涼亭).
