Miaoli Gongweixu Railway Tunnel (苗栗功維敘隧道) - Spectral Codex

An old single-track railway tunnel completed in 1903. Officially it is named Miaoli Tunnel (苗栗隧道) while the common name is derived from the inscription over the entrance. It was decommissioned in 1998 after a newer tunnel was built. It reopened to the public in 2003 as part of Maolishan Park (貓裏山公園). The entire 460 meter length of the tunnel is accessible as part of a network of walking trails in the area.
