A 33.3m white concrete lighthouse on the northwest cape of Green Island (綠島), built in 1939 with funds donated by American citizens through the Red Cross after islanders rescued passengers from the SS President Hoover, which ran aground off Gongguan Village in 1937. The tower was destroyed by Allied bombing during World War 2 and restored in 1948. Open to the public daily except Mondays.
