Completed in November 1940, this was a Shinto shrine built specifically for Kasuga Village (春日村), a Japanese immigrant village (移民村社) established on reclaimed land on the floodplains of Yunlin. It was located in the vicinity of what is now Guangfu Elementary School (光復國民小學) in Huwei. No trace remains of the village or the shrine.
