Founded in 1964 by Dr. Hong Yixiong (洪義雄) as Ershui’s second modern theater. Located in Guanghua Village (光化村), this red brick and stone-washed building occupies around 500 square meters of real estate. It competed fiercely with the older Chenggong Theater (成功戲院), drawing audiences with newer releases and crowd-pleasing monster movies. The site is now occupied by Yiye Company (一燁公司) and the current status of the interior is unknown.
