Not much remains of this former district shrine (鄉社) established in July 1937 apart from some komainu (guardian lion-dogs), stone lantern bases, a shrine name stele (社號碑), and several sets of stone steps along the former approach path. It is located on the former campus of Dongshi Vocational School, which relocated after the 921 Earthquake of 1999. There is also an old statue of Chiang Kai-shek on the hillside facing the tennis courts. It would have been known as Toseki-jinja in the original Japanese.
