Nankeng Coal Mine (北埔南坑煤礦) - Spectral Codex
北埔南坑煤礦

Nankeng Coal Mine, known to locals as China Coal Mine (中國煤礦) after the state enterprise once tied to it, operated out of the hills of southern Beipu. It was operated by Guo Huoxing (郭火興) in 1984 but the site vanished from mining association records in 1987 and presumably closed around then. A reinforced concrete adit survives, unusually solid and well preserved inside, alongside a derelict mine building.
