Established in October 1924, this former Shinto shrine in the mountains of Wanli was situated in a productive coal mining area. It was destroyed after the war, leaving only an ablution basin near the gates of Kanjiao Elementary School (崁腳國民小學). The basin was dedicated in 1925 and was donated by Kobayashi Hiroshi (小林寬), then president of the local mining company, but it seems to have gone missing by the early 2020s. The actual site of the shrine is subject of some dispute, and may have been near the school or perhaps behind Ji’an Temple (濟安宮). In the original Japanese it was presumably known as Kanashiyama-sha.
