Huayuan Branch Sanhe Elementary School (三和國民小學華源分校) - Spectral Codex
三和國民小學華源分校

A former elementary school in rural Taimali. Originally established in 1945 as Sugihara Branch of Taimali Elementary (太麻里國校杉原分校), it became independent in 1947 and was renamed Huayuan Elementary (華源國民學校) when the village changed its name. It was downgraded to a branch of Sanhe Elementary in 1996 and closed in 2012. The buildings were demolished in the mid-2010s. The space is now used for events but some of the original statues and gateposts remain. It was featured in Lost Society Document, a record of disused public property in Taiwan.
