Pobuwu Levee Monument (破布烏堤防紀念碑) - Spectral Codex
破布烏堤防紀念碑

Erected to commemorate the Pobuwu Levee, completed in 1936 as part of a major Japanese colonial flood control project along the Lanyang River. Known as “Lanyang’s First Levee”, it served as the primary defense against devastating floods that plagued the Yilan plains. The monument now stands weathered and damaged next to the trailhead leading to Jiuqiong Lake (九芎湖).
