A former theater established in Shuinandong to provide entertainment for the many miners working in the area. It predated the larger Taijin Theater located not far from here, but the precise date of activation is elusive. At any rate, it was in a dilapidated state by 1981 and was later converted for use as an indoor sports arena until population decline left it more or less abandoned. It has since been renovated into a community arts space and gallery.
