A Hakka family compound in Linluo built in 1936 by the Song family in an eclectic fusion style with a neo-Baroque façade. In September 1944, after the American assault on the Philippines, the Imperial Japanese Army’s 8th Flight Squadron withdrew to Pingtung and requisitioned the building as a command post during the US bombing of Pingtung Airfield. It presumably returned to the Song family in the post-war era but eventually fell into disrepair and was demolished.
