Former site of the main Paiwan settlement in Laiyi. In 1953 the village was forcibly relocated to a more accessible site by the ROC government. Also sometimes written as Chajiakavus or Old Laiyi (舊來義). Outsiders are only permitted to visit on a guided tour.
