Jiaoxi Old Theater (老礁溪戲院) - Spectral Codex
老礁溪戲院

Established in 1951, this was a simple theater made from stone walls, bamboo tubing, and thatch roofing. It was more a venue for traditional opera than cinema, although films were occasionally screened here. When a newer theater opened in town in 1955 the popularity of this rudimentary venue quickly declined, and it soon went out of business. It was situated on a plot of land behind the public market, which has since been destroyed. It seems unlikely any trace remains.
