A Japanese-style wooden lodge within Fushoushan Farm (福壽山農場), originally housing for farm workers. Chiang Ching-kuo (蔣經國) adopted it as his base while supervising construction of the Cross-Island Highway (中橫公路), reportedly after spending a night sleeping under a pine tree at the site and writing an essay about the experience. Now converted into a guesthouse open for public bookings, the lodge is surrounded by maples, pines, and plum trees that make it a popular autumn destination.
