A small resettlement village west of the mouths of the Shuangxikou (雙溪口溪) and Laojie (老街溪) rivers on the coast of Dayuan, Taoyuan. It was settled by 8 households displaced by the construction of Shimen Reservoir (石門水庫). Allocated farmland sat directly behind the houses, barely 300 meters from the sea; the sandy soil and salt-laden monsoon wind made cultivation so difficult that many gave up, selling their plots or letting them be expropriated for windbreak forest. Industrial pollution from the surrounding coastal factories and upstream watercourses later eroded what remained of village life, and most descendants have since moved away.
