A former joint logistics military dependents’ village of approximately 137 households situated next to Ximen Experimental Elementary School (西門西門實驗小學) in Anping, Tainan. The nearby Salt Office was converted into a rubber factory, the primary employer of the village. Initial accommodation was canvas tents, later upgraded through bamboo and tile-roofed structures to largely self-funded townhouses in the 1980s. In the mid-2000s it was swept up in a nation-wide urban renewal program and the entire village was demolished around 2008, its occupants relocated to more modern housing elsewhere.
