A significant police garrison along the security road now known as Neibenlu Yueling Historic Trail (內本鹿越嶺古道). It was established in 1926 and is located at approximately 1,120 meters elevation on a river terrace where tributaries of Luye River converge. The garrison oversaw the largest number of villages in the area and featured an education center, trading post, and medical facilities. The site features numerous stone foundations, a reinforced concrete armory (銃器彈藥庫), and a washbasin. A survey marker from the Imperial Japanese Army Land Survey Department remains near the entrance. Since 2001, members of the Bunun Indigenous people have returned annually to raise a flag here, asserting their continued connection to this ancestral land.
