Established in the late 1970s to provide leisure activities in the mountains lining the Taipei Basin. With the rise of more modern amusement parks in the 1990s this one soon closed. In 2006 the former park was redeveloped into Xinlin Hiking Trail (新林步道). It is unclear whether any trace of the actual park remains.
