A huge and historic temple in Linkou dedicated to Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy. The name of the temple borrows a character from Luzhu, Linkou, and Guishan. The temple is known for its large 18-handed statue of Guanyin (十八手觀音佛祖), an antiquity recognized by the Ministry of Culture. There are also a pair of komainu and some Japanese-style stone lanterns scattered around the park in front of the temple (竹林山寺公園), but these are not all relics of a Shinto shrine. This temple was rebuilt in a Japanese style in 1938; only in the post-war era was it renovated into a Minnan-style temple again. That being said, there seems to be some confusion about whether at least one of the stone lanterns was relocated here from Haishan Shinto Shrine (海山神社) in Zhonghe.
