A bus stop on Shennan Road (深南路) in Shenkeng with the name Minhua Cinema City has aroused curiosity in recent years but nobody seems too sure what it refers to. Most accounts converge on this being a reference to a set for costume dramas, something along the lines of Chinese Culture and Movie Center. Documentation is otherwise almost nonexistent: no structures appear in satellite imagery going back to the early 2000s, institutional maps show nothing here from the 1950s onward, and no road ran up this valley until the 1960s, so any installation was presumably short-lived.
