Golden age cinema established as Diyi Theater (第一戲院) by Lin Heji (林和吉) and Lin Jinyi (林金一) in 1969. Later the name was changed to add the fifth character. The building was allegedly designed by architect Li Wanghui (李旺輝). and it had a capacity of approximately 600. Out of business around 1994. Demolished around 2022.
