A coal mine in the hills of Xinyi District, Keelung, historically linked to the nearby Asahi Coal Mine (旭坑煤礦) as part of the same mining operation. When coal reserves at the lower Asahi site were exhausted mining shifted back uphill to this location. The mine operated from 1978 to 1981, producing just over 18,000 tonnes before closing. The main portal has been lost, but a complete ventilation shaft remains accessible somewhere on the mountainside.
