A small park behind Wulu Elementary School (霧鹿國小) preserving two Russian-made cannons from 1903, captured by Japan during the Russo-Japanese War and later brought to Taiwan to suppress Indigenous peoples. The fort was established in 1927 to intimidate Bunun communities during construction of the Guanshan Traversal Trail (關山越嶺道). One cannon was originally stationed here; the other was relocated from Shinbulo Fort after World War 2. A Shōwa era stone monument at the entrance inscribed with Namo Amituofo (南無阿彌陀佛) is said to pacify the spirits of fallen Bunun warriors.
