A golden age cinema in a small town in Taoyuan. Established in the late Japanese colonial era as Shinpa-za (新坡座), while business records begin in 1951, which may indicate when it reopened after the war. Not much else seems to be known about this old theater but it likely operated into the 1970s. A survey of aerial maps from the 1970s reveals a candidate building at this location. The name might have also been Dapo Theater (大坡戲院), or perhaps they were interchangeable.
