A former railway tunnel cutting through the mountains of eastern Taiwan for 13 kilometers. It was abolished in 2003 with the opening of the New Guanyin Tunnel (新觀音隧道). There were plans to convert it into a bikeway but it was eventually used as an access corridor for additional construction work along this section of the Suhua Highway.
