A self-sustaining Christian community in the mountains of Namaxia established in 1963 by members of the New Testament Church. Originally known as Shuanglianku (雙連堀), it was renamed Mount Zion in 1967. The settlement endured repeated government crackdowns during the martial law era, including forced evictions and demolitions, before members gradually returned after 1986. Around 300 residents live communally on the mountain, and the site is now promoted as a scenic attraction by the Kaohsiung city government.
